IT'S TIME . . .

My next weekly animated character is almost ready to move into production! This one won’t be 3D, but a 2D sketch-style animation. I still like roughing out the set in 3D first for lighting and perspective, though—it helps ground the shots.

This will kick off a three-part mini-series titled “Angry Weenie,” featuring a tiny dachshund with a big dislike for Christmas.

On top of that, I’m officially stepping into the next phase of my portfolio: developing and producing an original animated short film. Production begins in January 2026, with a target completion date of the end of February. I’m equal parts terrified and excited, but it’s finally time to take on the project I’ve been intimidated by for years.

I’m ready. Let’s do this.
